Doing Henna at Home

Doing henna is a good treatment for healthy hair. Our hairs become more beautiful when we do henna. Do you know how to do henna at home?

Doing henna at home is easy. If we know the way to do it, no need of spending money in beaty parlour. Add four teaspoons each of lemon juice and coffee, two raw eggs, one teaspoon of fenugreek powder and enough tea water to the henna powder. Mix well and make a thick paste. Make tea water by boiling used tea leaves again in enough water. Cool and strain the liquid. If you have dry hair, add two teaspoons of oil. Apply the henna on your hair and deeply and wash it off after an hour or two hours.

Hi Joina, that is very useful information.Henna is extremely good for your scalp.However I wonder if the color becomes strong, reddish ...I hate the reddish tinge that henna normally leaves.

True, I also do not like the reddish color that henna leaves back. Maybe we need to try it with adding some drops of oil as Joina mentioned. Then, the hair won't feel as dry. Usually, henna does make the hair dry. Hence, we need to apply more oil after rinsing out henna and re-wash the hair the next day.

Coffee powder gives brown colour to our hair. If we don't want brown colour, do not add coffee powder in that mixture. Be careful when you choose henna packet from shop. If you want to keep your hair as black, buy black henna powder for henna treatment. If you buy brown colour henna powder, your hair will become brown.
