Credit cards are more harmful than lifesaving. yes?

It depends on how we use them. They can be life saving many times too. Especially when we need to draw or pay a larger amount for emergencies and cannot go to the bank. They can be the best thing while travel. Even if we lose them or if they get stolen, we can immediately call the bank to stop any payments. Sometimes, it is not possible to do so with a debit card, the thieves can withdraw from any atm or will have an access to our direct savings.
Some credit cards also offer money back, cash rewards and extra benefits for flight travel, restaurants and hotel stays..

I totally agree with rs, credit card if used in the right manner can be very helpful since one can use it even when there is no money..I have one and I use it all the time and have collected a lot of points which I can redeem in either online purchases or as airmiles when I collect a substantial number of points...One has to take care and keep an account, and these days even that is very easy since we get sms messages about every single transaction we make and also reminders when minimum payment is due! All in all I feel that credit cards are extremely helpful in making our lives a little more comfortable and easier...
