What is spectrum?

I would like to ask the members of EK about the definition of spectrum.

This is a scintific work .The spectrum in a rainbow.This types of conditon that has unlimited values.

spectrum is the phenomena of splitting of white light into its constituent colours when passed through depressive medium.

Injected pigments in our body. Are they associated just with tattooing or much more?
Every one of us are well known with the word tattooing. Does any one know anything about injected pigments?

During tattooing pigments like carbon, cinnabar and India Ink are introduced into skin. Macrophages present inside our cells absorb these pigments. These pigments stay permanently in connective tissue. These pigments are called as injected pigments.
e.g.:-
* Wound not cleaned properly or dirt left accidentally inside the wound,
* Pricking dermis with dyes during tattooing,
* Creams and lotions used for a long time containing mercury.
