Natural cure for indigestion

Indigestion is a common problem from which majority of our population suffers. Natural cure is the best course of action to pursue in indigestion.

         

Indigestion is a common problem from which majority of people suffer. Natural cure is the best way of overcoming this problem. Follow the below listed tips and you are sure to get some relief.
Ginger
Ginger plays a vital role for improving the digestion. The ginger products are readily available in local markets in the shape of ginger tea, ginger candy, ginger capsules and ginger powder. Take some ginger slices put some salt and chew them. Ginger tea also stimulates the digestive juices and helps in stomachache.

Baking Soda
The solution of baking soda neutralizes the acid present in stomach. Take one teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water, put lemon to dispel the gas, stir well and drink the solution. This will give relief from bloating.

Fruit juices

Fruit juices containing fructose may cause abdominal pain as it passes directly into the colon.
Therefore, in order to avoid this effect which may cause indigestion the fruit juices may be taken with meal as far as possible.

Eat slowly

Eating slowly and chewing the food well help to avoid indigestion. The dinner may be eaten atleast two to three hours before bedtime as the food does not digest properly when sleeping.

Chamomile

Chamomile is the best treatment for indigestion. It soothes the stomach. Drinking a few cups of tea during day time improves the digestion.
Apple cider vinegar
Take one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar, mix it in a glass of water and drink. It will be helpful in digesting the meal.

Dairy products

The Dairy products like cheese etc. are very gassy and they cause indigestion. In order to get rid
of this problem some lactose free dairy products may be included in the diet.

Lime and Ginger

Take a glass of warm water. Put one spoon of lime and ginger juice and half teaspoon of honey. Mix properly all the ingredients and drink the same. This will help to tackle the indigestion.

Herbal Tea

In case of overeating Herbal tea controls indigestion to a great extent. Prepare a cup of herbal tea
and drink it

Cinnamon

Cinnamon spice helps for digestion. Take half teaspoon of cinnamon powder, add it to a cup of boiling water, prepare tea and drink it. It will give relief in bloating.

Orange

The orange fruit contains natural acids such as citric and ascorbic acids. It can be eaten directly or its juice can be used before taking meal. This will improve the digestive process.

Grapefruit

The grapefruit contain vitamins and nutrients which can give relief for indigestion. Take a teaspoon
of dried peel, in case of stomachache. It will help making digestive system work well.

Coriander

Coriander spice contains aphrodisiac. Add roasted coriander seeds to a glass of butter milk and drink
it two to three times a day. This will work well for indigestion.

Water

Drinking a glass of water which is easily available will give much relief from indigestion. Water helps in diluting the acids present in the stomach and helps from bloating and burning.

Aloe Vera juice

Aloe vera juice helps to resolve and upset stomach. Take one teaspoon of aloe vera juice in half cup of water, stir it well and drink it thrice a day. Taking plenty of Aloe vera juice is not recommended as it contains cathartic.


Peppermint

Peppermint herb is every effective for different types of indigestion.It improves the digestion process,and reduces flatulence. Drinking of peppermint tea with meals is also very useful.
