Steps Which You Must Follow on Routine Basis to Prevent Hypertension

There is strong need of taking immediate and strong and beneficial steps which can prevent hypertension and which are also capable of treating hypertension and in improving health of chronic sufferers of this diseased condition.

         

Hypertension is rapidly spreading disease these days due to deep roots which its causes has taken these days in people's lifestyles, eating habits and in way of livings. There is strong need of taking immediate and strong and beneficial steps which can prevent hypertension and which are also capable of treating hypertension and in improving health of chronic sufferers of this diseased condition.

The various steps which you must follow on routine basis to prevent hypertension are-

1. Medicinal aid-
Consult your doctor for medicinal aid when your blood pressure remains persistently high on routine basis, or there is sudden unexpected abrupt increase of blood pressure, when disease has become chronic and strengthen its roots.

2. Treat the cause-
Treat the cause which is responsible for causing hypertension. There are so many causes of hypertension, find out what is the cause lying behind there and causing hypertension. Find out cause and treat the cause, as the treatment go according to cause and also according to stage of your disease.

3. Reduce your weight if you are overweight that is obese-
If you are suffering from obesity, that is, you are overweight, then reduce your weight by doing exercise regularly, go for a walk daily. Also reducing excess consumption of fried and fatty food which causes obesity, have balanced diet composed of protein component, carbohydrates from vegetables, vitamins and minerals from fruits but no fat at all.

4. Stop alcohol intake-
If you are chronic alcoholic, or do have habit of alcohol consumption on daily basis, then stop alcohol intake, as alcohol intake not only damages your liver, kidneys, stomach but also increases your blood pressure, that is, causes hypertension and also damages your arteries.

5. Exercise regularly-
Exercise regularly, have a brisk walk daily or do cycling, or do moderate amount of exercise, which do help in maintaining healthy blood pressure and also help in preventing blood cholesterol from getting higher, which is also one of the cause of high blood pressure, that is, hypertension.

6. Stop smoking-
Stop smoking, as smoking not only do harm to your lungs and to whole of the respiratory tract, but also increases your blood pressure. So, stop smoking, if you want to get rid of hypertension, as smoking is also one of the causes of high blood pressure.

7. Have a good sleep-
Have a good sleep of eight hours, as loss of sleep and sleeping for few hours also increases your blood pressure.

8. Do meditation exercises, which relax your mind and reduce stress. Meditation as you know has always proven its benefits in reducing stress.

9. Reduce excessive salty diet intake and heavy fatty food and fried diet intake-
Intake of excessive salt in diet and consumption of heavy fatty and fried food in diet increases your blood pressure. So, reduce intake of these as much as possible and switch to healthy diet consisting of low fat food and reduce excessive intake of salt in food.
