LG G Flex is a truly revolutionary phablet. Because it has a curved body. It also features a flexible screen and battery. The back of the phone is coated with a self-healing coating. G Flex is the first phone to be released with the curved display and it is also the only one of its kind presently available in the markets.

LG G Flex features a 6 inch Curved P-OLED capacitive touchscreen with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution (HD Ready). The pixel density of the display is 245 ppi. This phablet has a thickness of about 8.7 mm and weighs about 177 grams. This phablet has a curved body and display along with a self-healing back panel coating.

The in-built storage of this phablet is 32 GB. But the storage capacity cannot be extended as there is no card slot in this phablet. LG G Flex features a 13 MP primary camera. The features of this camera include autofocus, LED flash, simultaneous video and image recording, geo-tagging, face detection, HDR etc. The primary camera also records 1080p (Full HD resolution) videos at the rate of 60 frames per second. There is a 2.1 MP secondary camera on the front too. This secondary camera also has the ability to record HD videos at the rate of 30 frames per second.

Along with the usual GPRS, EDGE and Bluetooth features, NFC and infra-red port are also available in this phablet. Using Near Field Communication Technology, data can be exchanged between two devices which are not more than 10 cm apart.

LG G Flex runs on Android OS, v4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). The phablet is powered by a Quad-core Krait 400 processor along with 2 GB RAM and Qualcomm MSM8974 Snapdragon 800 Chipset. The processor is clocked at 2.26 GHz. The GPU of the phone is Adreno 330. The model is available in Titan Silver colour.

The juice for this phablet is provided by a whooping Li-Po 3500 mAh battery. The only drawback about this battery is that it is non removable. LG had unveiled G Flex in October, 2013. The phablet was released in November, 2013. This is a very costly phone presently in the Indian markets leaving behind Apple iPhone 5S, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and HTC One Max with a price of Rs. 68,500.
