* Do you think that your brain is more active when you are thinking hard or concentrating in something? If so, you are wrong as our brain is more active at night than during day. The reason for this is yet to be found by our scientists.

* If your dreams are high, then you can congratulate yourself. Because if you have high number of dreams, it means that your IQ is also high.

* The average lifespan of a hair is 3 to 7 years. Facial hair grows faster than hair on any other part of the body.

* An average human being shed his or her outer skin layer approximately in 27 days. An average person gets about one thousand new skins in his or her lifetime. We also shed about 6,00,000 particles of skin per hour.

* It is established that there is a link between the temperature of the room you sleep and the occurrence of nightmares. The colder the room, the higher will be the chance of getting nightmares.

* New born babies cannot distinguish different colours. They see everything in black and white.

* There is no blood circulation to the cornea of the eye. The cornea gets the required oxygen directly from the atmosphere.

* The nail in our middle finger grows faster than the nails on the other 4 fingers. The fingernails grow 4 times faster than that of the toenails.

* Every ten years we get a new skeleton as our skeleton is able to renew itself every ten years.

* There are more than 5,00,000 sweat glands in our feet. These sweat glands produce about 0.47 litres of sweat every day.
