Social Networking sites have got a remarkable influence on almost every one. Man being a social animal, gets his fair share of socialization through these sites.
Every one tend to 'Tweet', 'Digg' and 'Like' about whatever new that comes their way online. One can hardly ignore the craving for socializing which dwells up inside. We have plenty of social networking sites available today, which are free to use. Twitter, Facebook, Digg, Stumble Upon, LinkedIn, Blogs and so on, just to name a few of them.
In business perspective, the benefits of these social media sites are manifold. They have the potential to promote the business to reach a broader range of audience. This way one can choose to publicize and advertise online. Take an example of a writer, who wish to promote his articles through networking sites, say twitter. The writer himself would have hundreds and thousands of followers, with each follower having an good number of friends following. When he tweets and posts the link to his article, it reaches to everyone following him thus increasing the probability of larger number of hits. The followers may or may not opt to retweet, and again it reaches another set of audience. Even if many people do not choose to open the posted link, there are a lot more others who does. It applies to other businesses too, and similarly with other networking sites.
Practically it would be hard to sit and post as much articles as possible in a day to all your networks. The person would end up wasting a lot of productive time and energy. That can be avoided with the help of sites that provides automation services to update the networks. I personally like 'Twaitter', even though there are a couple of other similar ones too. Twaitter is one such tool which will allow you to schedule your messages to the networks of your choice, within a matter of few clicks. You can choose the time and text and it recurs the post to networks, even in our absence.
Lets see how to use Twaitter application.
1. Create an account with Twaitter and Login to the application.
2. Select the 'Schedule Messages' tab.
3. Type your message in the space given. Optimize the message with available 140 spaces. Shorten the urls with the button provided below the text space.
4. Select the 'Recur' mode for posting.
5. Give the appropriate time.
6. If you wish to give end date for your scheduled posts, then provide them. Else let it recur for ever.
7. It allows us to create a group of networking sites or blogs that we wish to post the updates. Thus we can post the messages in one go to all of them.
This kind of automation really saves a lot of time and effort. Once your article is published, schedule the post to twaitter once and it will take care of posting to all your networks. The numbers of hits and the responses for it will give you the ocular proof by itself.
