Steps to have young skin

To maintain the freshness and glow of your skin you need to follow certain steps. You should not neglect in taking care of your skin otherwise you will have dull lifeless skin and then you cannot do anything but regret.

         

We all want to have glowing and youthful skin. But there are essential steps that we need to follow to maintain the freshness and glow of your skin. For having young skin we need to take its care and maintain a regular skin care regime. Here I am giving some rules that you need to follow to stop your skin from wrinkles and dullness and for maintaining its freshness and glow.

Water is best for our skin:
As I have written in my last article water is the most essential thing to make us look younger. As we age our skin lose its water content and thus we start having wrinkles and dehydrated skin. It loses its glow and to regain that glow water is most important. It keeps our skin hydrated, the most important thing for keeping your skin looking younger.

Maintain a healthy diet:
If you want to look best and feel best then you need to maintain healthy diet plan. Fresh fruits and green vegetables provide our skin and our whole body those nutrients that are essential for us. Our skin needs proper amount of all the essential ingredients to maintain its freshness such as iron, vitamins, proteins and minerals. We get all these most needed things from fruits, vegetables, whole grains and that is why it is very important that we increase the intake of these things to provide our skin the basic essentials so that our skin does not look dull and wrinkled.

Do exercise, yoga and meditation:
Doing exercises regularly is very beneficial for your skin. When we do exercises or Pranaayam, it sends oxygen rushing to your skin cells and thus making them look more vibrant and gives your skin younger look. Though all types of exercises are beneficial for you but cardiovascular exercise is best for your revitalizing your skin. Doing yoga and meditations make us stress free and you may not need to go towards other stress reliever such as alcohol or smoking thus you will be able to stop yourself from taking harmful toxins thru these beverages. All sorts of alcohol and aerated drink damage your skin. But doing yoga, meditations and exercise gives your skin ample supply of oxygen to maintain its freshness and younger looks.

Take proper sleep:
Proper eight hours of sleep is very important as it is when you sleep then only your body produces human growth hormone. These human growth hormones helps in keeping your skin thick and elastic and thus you will not have wrinkles. If you do not let your body take rest and have proper sleep then your body releases the stress hormone cortisol and it has been researched and proved that these cortisol is very harmful for our skin as it breaks down skin cells and thus making your skin lose its luster and freshness.

Use sunscreen lotion:
Direct sunlight not only tans your skin but takes away the glow and younger look of your skin. Even if you are young still you need to take precautions before stepping out of your home. It doesn't matter that what is your age is as far as protecting yourself from direct contact from the sun's rays is very important. If you don't use sunscreen even if you are young you may regret it later as your skin will become dry and brown as leather after being in directs contact with the sun's rays. So, it is very important that irrespective of your age, you should always step out of your house only after applying sunscreen so that it your skin won't get damaged .

Moisturizing your skin:
Moisturizing is also very important part for maintaining the young look of your skin. Many people think that they need to use moisturizer only in the night. But it's not the correct thing to do. You should always use both day time moisturizer as well night time moisturizer.. You should go for moisturizer having those useful ingredients that are essential for your skin such as Vitamins A, C and E, aloe, alpha hydroxyl acids, glycolic acid and retinol. The day time moisturizer protects your skin from the drying effect of the environment on your skin and the night moisturizer replenishes your skin when you are sleeping.

Use eye cream:
Having dark spots around your eyes and wrinkles is the most prominent proof of showing that your skin needs proper care. The skin around the eye is the most delicate skin than any other portion of your face. Always massage gently to the skin around the eyes. Using cream at night around your eyes soothes the skin.

Remove dead skin:
It is very important to remove the dead skin cells as it gives your skin dull look. You can do that by using a very gentle exfoliate. Never ever go for any such products that may prove very harsh for your skin. So choose right product and use it to remove your dead skin cells so that your skin will not look dull, lifeless and old.

Go for facial:
To use face mask in a week on your face is very essential for your skin. Regular use of masks reduces wrinkles and it is a very good way to relax for some time. You can either make a face mask at your home with the ingredients that are easily available in your kitchen or you can buy from the market as there are many types of face pack available in the market.

These are some basic and very essential steps for your skin care. Following these steps will help you in having fresh and young skin and you will look much younger than your age. Start following these steps and I am sure you will find changes in your skin and will start getting compliments from everyone either your family members, friends or colleague.
