June 23, 2010  by: winindia  Points: 10   Category: Others  Earning $0.20   Views: 241

Handling Angry customer needs lot more patience.

Find a way break down the barriers between you and your customer.
use name, get out from behind your desk, find common ground.

Ask questions to help find out what happened .As well as to help the customer express and get rid of anger. Make the question open-ended to encourage more conversation.

Never take anything the customer says as a personal affront. He is angry at the situation, not at you.

Try to get the customer into giving a "yes" response. get him to agree with you as often as you can.

Once he is calmed down, find out what he wants you to do.

if there are corporate policies that inhibit you, explain them as politely as possible.

Always be positive and stress what you can do, rather than what you can not.

get your customer to decide on the solution he wants.

Put the solution to work as fast as you can.

Offer one little extra,if you can

Keep in mind that customers are like God to us.

We should try to respect their sentiments when they get angry, maintain calm and silent to let them cool down.

Politeness is very important when dealing with the customers.

Service with a good smile on your face will please the customers and will bring them to you back repeatedly.

When you service is at fault, accept it and apologize to the customers.

I always believe in the three magical words - 'Thank you', 'Please' and 'Sorry'

The saying "Customer is always right" seem being abuse by customers all the time. Customers should also respect people who are serving them. Its always a two way communication and no matter how it goes, they are still people who deserves respect.
