Hara bara Palak Paratha. It is a healthy food which can be had for breakfast, lunch or for dinner. Can be made quickly.
Hara Bara Palak Paratha - 8 parathas
Ingredients:
1 bundle Spinach (Palak) 250 gm Wheat flour 1 tablespoon salt 1 table spoon of garlic-ginger paste 8 green chillies.
Oil or ghee for making parathas.
Procedure:
Wash the palak thoroughly in water. Cut off the stems and keep the leaves separately. Blanch the palak leaves ( Leave the palak leaves in boiling water add a teaspoon of salt and remove it; put in cold water now and remove the leaves)
Grind the palak leaves and chillies and add garlic ginger paste to it. Mix it with wheat flour and make a tight and smooth dough. Make 8 balls out of the dough. Roll each ball in to a round shape,spread little oil or ghee, spray some wheat flour, fold it, roll it to semicircle shape, spread little oil or ghee, spray some wheat flour, fold it and roll it to a triangular shape paratha.
Now heat the tawa, grease it with oil/ghee and fry the parathas as you do the normal parathas.
These Palak parathas tastes best when eaten hot. Serve with fresh curd (Yogurt), pickles or vegetables.
