Bottle Gourd Soup - Tasty, healthy and good for weight loss also.

Bottle Gourd is a waterborne vegetable and very good for digestion and weight loss.

         

Bottle Gourd Soup:

Ingredients

Bottle gourd - 100 gms. (peel off the skin and cut into small pieces
Tomato - Big size - 2 (Cut into four pieces)
Onion - 1 (Peel and cut into small pieces)
Garlic - 4/5 pearls
Garam Masala powder - 1 teaspoon
Carrot - 1 small size cut into pieces
Oil - 1 tablespoon
Salt - to taste
Black pepper - Powder ( a pinch)
Water - 4 cups.


Procedure
Heat oil in a pan, add crushed the garlic pearls, onion, and add garam masala powder, stir nicely and add carrot pieces, tomato pieces and bottle gourd pieces, just fry for a minute.

Add 4 cups of water, and transfer the contents to a pressure cooker with whistle on.

After one whistle, remove the contents to a vessel and remove the skin of tomato pieces.

Drain the water (vegetable stock)and keep it aside. Now put the remaining vegetables in a mixer and grind it nicely.

Now mix this in the vegetable stock, add salt to taste and black pepper powder. Stir. well.

Check the consistency. If you want it more watery add some boiled water to it.

Your soup is ready. This is very healthy as well as good for weight loss.
