Endorphins make you feel good after exercise. Our body releases internal chemicals or endorphin that results in a happy feeling despite working up a sweat. This definitely does not require you to over-exercise or workout beyond your limit.
Daily exercise is a wise deed. It makes you feel good and look good. Physical fitness has multiple benefits - it strengthens and tones bones and muscle, results in healthy heart and mind, boosts immunity and prevents risks of diabetes and other illness. All these reasons explain that exercise is healthy. However, what is the real reason behind feeling good after rigorous exercise?
Endorphins -the feel good hormone
Well, you guessed it right; Endorphins make you feel good after exercise. Our body releases internal chemicals or endorphin that results in a happy feeling despite working up a sweat. This definitely does not require you to over-exercise or workout beyond your limit. Moderate high and low intensity sessions at the gym and swimming pool are good enough to feel good.
Exercise, Stress Relief and Feeling Good
Engaging in even small amounts of regular exercise helps to improve one's mental health too. Weight training, biking, walking, yoga or aerobics; choose anything that works for your body. Exercise makes you stress-resistant. You can handle the most dysfunctional job or irate people with a smile. This is possible if you work out regularly. It also eliminates nervousness, anxiety and depression. The reason again is endorphins that the body releases after you exercise.
Set Simplest Goals to Exercise
You need not train for marathon or Olympics. Set simplest goals to accomplish few miles on the treadmill and arc trainer. You may also time your brisk walk on the roads, jog for a mile and back. All these help to burn the body fats while making you feel good. Try to stretch the goal once in three days. Extend the swimming time; attend one and a half biking class instead of one, run few more minutes on the treadmill than usual. This process can help to improve your stamina gradually.
Avoid Boredom while Exercise
Listen to catchy music, try different classes and use different set of machines at the gym. These tips will help to beat boredom while you exercise. Try a sport on weekends, like badminton, squash or bowling instead of going to the gym every day. Hiking or biking outdoors on a sunny day can also be a good relaxation technique.
Be it any form of exercise, it always helps to improve your mood and relieves stress. The feeling of accomplishing your work out goals can certainly make you feel good. Try a high protein and low fat diet to look good. Reducing salt and sugar in your diet can also help a lot. It eliminates the bloating and sluggish feeling after a meal. Try all these new ideas for your next workout session to look and feel good!
