Autumn is a season of the natural cycle. Autumn reminds us the autumn of our life. Getting old is inevitable. But looking old is optional. You can keep yourself younger by following some anti-aging techniques.

         

Getting older is inevitable. But looking old is only optional. You need not spend huge sums of money on wrinkle creams or undergo the pains of plastic surgery. Ranella Hirsch, Mass-based dermatologist of Cambridge says, "Making a simple tweak or two to your anti-aging routine can mean a major difference in the results you see." Here are ten tips suggested by experts in dermatology to protect your skin from wrinkles and make you look younger.

1) Use natural soaps or body wash

Use natural soap or body wash to keep your skin soft and fresh. Wash select areas such as face, feet, groin, and buttocks rinsing with water well enough to keep them clean. They prevent you from unnecessarily stripping your skin of its natural oils.

2) Cleanse your face when it is wet

Your face often gets wet and oily by the nature of the body. You can use a foaming or gel type cleanser on your damp skin.

3) Moisturize your skin areas while you wash

Apply a wet mesh puff and wash the skin areas in order to assure the anti-aging benefits of your body. Pumping air into the product will get more foam and reduce your detergent usage.

4) Cleanse for at least one minute

Massage your face wash on your skin for at least 60 seconds to break down dirt and makeup before rinsing off. This will wipe away pollutants, dirt, bacteria, etc. that can cause dullness and clogged pores.

5) Splash and give makeup a firm base

Splashing your face with cold water before applying makeup will cool your skin and shrink the pores temporarily. It will make you appear with a refreshed look.

6) Mist up during midday

Midday needs your attention more due to hydration. Refresh your parched skin with a spritz of a facial mist on your bare skin and apply moisturizer to seal in the added hydration.

7) Give at least 3 minutes time to help foundation

Your lotion will take at least three minutes to be absorbed completely and then you can apply makeup which helps the foundation and keeps it the whole day.

8) Change the visor in your car

Move the sun visor in your car to your left side to block the UV rays of the sun while you are driving. It has been found out that the left side of the face of the women tends to look older because it incurs more sun damage while driving.

9) Add Vitamin C for your skin nourishment

Vitamin C is an essential skin care ingredient for the synthesis of collagen, a key structural protein of the skin. As people age, the production of collagen in the skin automatically decreases, which causes wrinkles and aging. That is why Vitamin C is an essential antidote to this aging process. Researches point out that Vitamin C has been validated for reducing wrinkles and rejuvenating the skin.

10) Antioxidants work wonders

Antioxidant can help reduce skin damage caused by free radicals. The skin is constantly defending against pollution and other toxins. These antioxidants fight against these toxins to slow down the aging process. Moreover, the toxic chemicals actually cause aging. Right said Paulose, vitamin C and antioxidants are very good for skin and body. Vitamin C increases the body immunity. It strengthen the body immune system and therefore help in protecting the body against the harmful bacteria and viruses, and infections from them. Antioxidants also do the same function. They also protects us against the harmful microorganisms. They also strengthen our body immune system.
