It was a fear for a long time that eating eggs would increase weight and cause obesity. But new studies have proved that eating eggs as breakfast will burn your calories and shed the flab.

         

You can put off your worry about your weight problem by having two eggs for your morning breakfast. Scientists have proved that those take two eggs in the morning can burn calories easily and cutting out unwanted carbs. So you can start your day confidently with poached, boiled or scrambled eggs and can keep up your body weight at optimum level.

For decades there has been a fear that eating eggs may increase weight and cause cholesterol, blood pressure and obesity. That made people forget the old advert "Go to work on an egg- It is the best way to start the day".

Recent researches prove that egg slashes calories

Researchers at Surrey University, London, have discovered that eating eggs for breakfast can help burn the calories easily.

How can egg make you lose weight?

1) Weight is gained by eating a lot which is connected with a hunger stimulating hormone. Egg can keep you with a full feeling for a longer time than other foods. It is in this ability of the egg to make you feel full for a longer time lies the secret of egg in protecting you from gaining weight.

2) Researchers from Louisiana State University in the U.S. studied the eating habits of various groups of overweight and obese women. They found out that the groups who were eating two-egg breakfast were losing more weight and became slimmer than other groups with other types of low-fat food with the same calorie value.

3) Another study showed that those who had breakfast with eggs felt as if they had more energy than those who were given other types of food.

4) People who ate eggs as morning breakfast could work for longer time without any feeling of hunger compared with other people who were on other common breakfast foods. Moreover, they could resist craving for snacks on biscuits, cake or chocolate.

5) Prof Bruce Griffin, who led one of these studies, said: "This study provides yet more evidence that eating eggs at breakfast can help keep us feeling fuller for longer and may help people to eat less at subsequent meals, thus helping with weight loss."

6) The Daily Express from UK reporting about the studies on the ability of eggs on slashing calories said that the egg breakfast could also lead to a significantly lower intake of energy at lunch and evening meals compared with the other common breakfasts.

7) Studies reveal that egg suppresses the hunger stimulating hormone. Yet another study published last year compared the impact between eating a three-egg breakfast and a low-fat bagel one and found out that the egg breakfast responded better in suppressing ghrelin, the hormone known to stimulate hunger.

Nice to know they benefits of eating eggs. Have it everyday at breakfast. All sorts of recipe related to eggs is okay with me. Never wonder that it can also be used as a way of loosing weight. If all are true then it should benefit me the most. My weight is within the Body Mass Index (BMI) for my height. Maybe the egg has something to do about it. But there should also be exercise which I think is the most important factor of loosing weight.
