To add:

It is a viral disease brought by the Herpes Simplex virus (either type 1-HSV1) or type 2-HSV-2). Depending on the site of infection, it is categorized into one of several distinct disorders.

There are two type of herpes commonly occur in human beings. The first one is the Oral Herpes with very visible symptoms like cold sores or fever blisters on the face or mouths.
The next type of herpes is called the Genital herpes (or simply called herpes). This is the second most common form of herpes. There are also other types of herpes such as ocular herpes (called keratitis), cerebral herpes, herpes gladiatorum, and herpetic whitlow.

Transmission of herpes virus is very easy. A direct contact with a lesion or body fluid of an infected individual are common. Once infected, the virus remains on the body for life as there is no cure for it at the moment.
