There are blackhead removal strips and beauty salons that treat blackheads. However, you can use olive oil and treat blackheads at home. This is a cheap way to remove blackheads using home remedies.

Blackheads are a result of dirt and clogging on your skin pores. This can happen to people with dry skin, normal skin, oily skin or a t-zone. You can get blackheads not only on your face but also on the back and shoulders. Simply bathing does not help in removing blackheads. Blackheads are water resistant and combine with the dead skin cells. However, do not worry too much. You need not spend many dollars or rupees at a beauty salon or in a store to buy blackhead removal products. You can use simple home remedies for removing blackheads.

Use Olive Oil for Blackheads

You can find regular plain yogurt, lemon, oatmeal cereal and olive oil in your home. Combine all these ingredients in a bowl. You can use one tablespoon of each. Blend them well and apply the paste to the blackhead affected areas. You can first try it on your face. Let it dry for a few minutes. You can leave it on until it becomes dry and it may take 10 to 15 minutes. Then, wash your face by gently scrubbing in circular motion. If you also have pimples, avoid scrubbing. Simply wash your face and softly pat dry with a clean towel. Repeat this facemask once a day or at least five times a week. You can see good results in a month's time or less.

Sugar and Olive Oil for Blackheads

If you are in search of cheap blackhead removal process, look no further. Here is the best and most inexpensive way to remove blackheads. Use some granulated sugar and olive oil to solve the problem of blackheads. Make your own face scrub every day at home. Use five to six table spoons of olive oil and six tablespoons of granulated sugar. It is nothing but regular sugar, not the powdered one. Mix both olive oil and sugar and use as a face or body scrub. If you use it as a body scrub, you may need to mix more of both these ingredients.

After your scrub this olive oil and sugar mixture in circular motion, you can rinse your face and body thoroughly. It is best to use it before a shower. Also, use an organic or mild body shower or soap after this scrub. Pat dry the face and body with a clean towel. Follow up with a non-greasy moisturizer after the scrub. After the first wash, you will notice small difference. Your skin will feel softer, cleaner and tight. If you repeat this process once every day, it can show good results within a week or ten days.

For people with excessive oily skin, salt water cleansing can be helpful too. Steaming your face can also help you open the pores to clean blackheads. You can scrub your face after your steam. This can help in exfoliating and getting rid of dirt in the pores of your skin. Aloe Vera is also a good remedy for blackheads. If you have the plant at home, you can extract fresh Aloe Vera juice and apply on the affected regions. Likewise, tomato paste and radish paste seems to work wonders for many people. Try some of these and stick to the one that suits you the best. All these are simple and quick remedies for removing blackheads at home.
