Now-a-days we find people getting attracted with different types of colored food . Though colored food are the favorites among people but different kinds of health related problems are associated with it. Simple tasty foods are less applicable to many of us because they lack color to match our moods. Coloring in food is not a new concept and it has started from the time people started consuming food. But during those days, coloring in food was limited with natural colors. History tells us that Egyptians used saffron to color their food. Even Romans used alum to make white bread. In the recent past, spinach, turmeric, colored flowers etc were used to color food. Then the process of adding color to food changed rapidly. Now artificial colors are added to food as they are very cheap to use and gives a bright look to foods.

Colors in food affects health

Today, it is very hard to get green and fresh natural foods until and unless we grow them in our own garden. The food we consume regularly almost 30 percent of it is processed. These food contains not only preservatives but also harmful coLors in them. Many of you think that processed foods are beneficial to you as because they contain important vitamins, salts, preservatives and colors. But in reality when you consume such food, you get affected with health and behavioral problems

Color in food affects your behavioral aspects

You mental and health developments and the quality of your work depend upon on the type of food you consume regularly. The most important thing is the food protein you derive from the consumption of foods. The quality of food proteins depend upon the level of purity of food. The quality of food determines the development and growth of youngsters. Through the consumption of artificial colors in food people are getting affected with different types of health, mental and behavioral problems which in turn have an affect on their social status as an individual.

Diseases related with colors in food

From time on the scientists have been researching about the affect of color on humans and they have got sufficient amount of success with it. They come out with facts and figures that colors in food not only affect children but also the youths of today. It increases the level of irritation among youths and youngsters. It also affects one's sleep and makes one hyperactive . Besides, it also tend to decrease the motor activity (mind and functions related with it) among humans.

Characteristic of colors

All the colors does not work in the same process. Each color has its own function and depends upon the duration of consumption. The types and characteristics of a particular color tells us how much damage it can cause in our body and whether it will effect our body. Besides, characteristic of colors also tell us whether a particular color will affect our brain or other organs of the human body. So for better health avoid unwanted colors in your food. Take daily diets which are simple and easy to digest. Though this type of food might look dull but then it will help you in the wrong run to secure a healthy life. It is also a good idea to avoid eating food outside which are junk and contains excess colors. Rely as much as possible on home made foods which contains less colors put rich nutrients.
