FROM THE GRAVE

February 06, 2012  by: Subha Mahata  Points: 5   Category: Others    Views: 416

This poem is a an effort to predict the pleasure of realization of love after death.

In the misty solitudes in a cold evening,
When, only silence can be heard
The only to be seen is darkness dark,
You stand alone with wet eyes on a ground green.

The absence of my voice gives you a lament hard,
You try to regain the past but, regret for time has passed.
The one who wanted to be yours a day
On the grave of that man, you are standing today.

Beneath the green grass under your feet
Lies his corpse with your love still alive
Try to hear, someone is crying again
To wipe your tears in front of god, he's begging a moment of life.
