In this article, I have explained about how to keep yourself fit and healthy naturally. I have also explained to follow discipline, exercise, avoid skipping breakfast, taking balanced meal, eating plenty of vegetables and fruits, following good habits to maintain a healthy life style. Moreover, I have also advised to take proper sleep and to go for regular health check-ups.

         

Introduction


As said by the wealthy and wise that if wealth is lost nothing is lost but if health is lost everything is lost. Each one of you want to be the owner of a healthy body. Rightly so, a healthy body itself is a reflection of a healthy and sound mind. But due to the rush of the modern life you often get carried away and forget about those golden rules which help to keep you healthy and fit. But believe me it is still possible if only you organize and plan things in an orderly manner. Doing things at proper times and following a proper schedule or timetable does not cost anything. Does it? Instead, it helps you to manage your time in an efficient manner. Here, I am going to suggest you some simple yet effective tips which will definitely help you to stay fit, healthy and well trimmed in the future.

Follow discipline


Discipline holds the key for doing things in an orderly manner. Your first step towards a healthy living should start with self discipline. You need to discipline yourself so that you can do things at the right time. To start with it might seem difficult to follow but believe me it is not impossible. In fact, maintaining self discipline is the foundation over which other factors that keep you fit and healthy rests. Hence, take the initiative to do things at the right times to capitalize maximum benefits in the future. Simple things like taking the meals at the right time and getting up early in the morning comes under this category.

Warm up yourself with regular exercise


By suggesting you to do regular exercise I do not mean that you should hit the gym seven days in a week. If you go to gym three to four days a week it will do a whole lot of good to your health. If you do not like to go to gym it does not matter much. Alternatively, you can do some regular free hand exercises or jogging. Even a brisk walk of 30 to 40 minutes in the morning is enough to mobilize your joints and make you flexible. By doing any of these you will get enough supply of rich oxygen. Besides, it will also help all your inner organs to function smoothly.

Avoid skipping breakfast


Breakfast is the first meal of the day and it counts a lot. Skipping breakfast is like doing injustice to your health. Skipping breakfast will make you body prone to future health complications. Make sure to take your breakfast regularly and it should be a nutritious one including milk, eggs, bread and butter. If you like to drink tea or coffee you may go ahead and drink one after your breakfast.

Take a balanced meal


Like breakfast, meals should also be taken at a particular time regularly. It should consists of all the necessary food items that could supply you with essential carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins and other essential nutrients required by the body. A balanced meal helps in the proper functioning and development of the body. You should avoid eating foods that are spicy and oily in nature as it does not help in proper digestion. Avoid eating fried items and feast on steamed, grilled and baked food.

Eat plenty of vegetables and fruits


You should add as much as vegetables, pulses, lentils and salads in your diets. These contains the essential vitamins and proteins to meet the requirement of your body. It also helps in roughage and prevents constipation. After meals take some fresh fruits and fruit juices as it will provide you with enough stamina and energy.

Do not keep the belly empty for long hours


Experts advise that an empty belly is the root cause of problems like gastric. It also makes one lean and weak as the cells inside the body get dehydrated. If you do not like to take something heavy you can rely on some healthy snacks in between your meals.

Drink plenty of fresh water


Many of you do not like to drink water and stay without it for long time. This is not at all desirable for a good health. Drinking water at regular intervals keep the cells of your skin and internal organs well hydrated. It also helps in maintaining and regulating your body temperature. Moreover, water also helps in the proper digestion and assimilation of food within your body. Hence, make it a habit to drink a lot of water at regular intervals of the day to keep yourself well hydrated from inside.

Follow the basic good habits


By good habit here I mean if you have the habit of smoking and drinking alcohol leave it gradually for the sake of your health. Smoking kills many beneficial bacteria of your mouth and it also affects your heart very badly. Besides, drinking alcohol affects your level badly. Moreover, these things will prevent you from maintaining a healthy and fit lifestyle.

Proper sleep


Go to the bed early and make your bed and bed room as cozy and peaceful as possible. It will help you to get good sleep. For a healthy living you need to sleep at least seven to eight hours. Though some people might do with a bit of less sleep while others a bit of more sleep. If you do not get proper sleep in the night you will feel dizzy and devoid of energy throughout the day. If sleeplessness is not checked at the right time it might lead to insomnia (sleeplessness). Hence, go to the bed at the proper time with a relax and tension free mind and try to fall into deep slumber as early as possible.

Go for regular check-ups


Though this has been mentioned by me at the bottom but this has its own significance. You need to visit your physician from time to time and do a health check-up to find out if everything is going fine with you. Early check-ups has its own benefits as it helps in the detection of any health problem before hand. A proper and timely diagnosis saves you from future troubles.

If these simple tips are followed by you properly it will definitely pay you rich dividends in the future. It will help you to stay fit and healthy for a long time. If you maintain a healthy life style you need not have to waste a huge sum of money for your health in future. Certainly, following these simple and effective tips will not cost you anything. You just need a strong determination and will power to do it. If you are one of those who have a positive approach towards life and have a steady mind you will surely reach your goal of having a fit and healthy life naturally.

A healthy mind is only in healthy body. Health is the only wealth that nobody can steal. It is the everlasting property in this world. Life has no meaning, if we lost our health. Balanced diet and good exercise is the best way to maintain our health. Stay away from diseases. Prevention is better than cure.

Very interesting article! I totally agree about not skipping meals. We should never skip eating on time. Many people tend to fast or skip a lunch. However, that only spikes the glucose levels and increases junk food craving. Hence, such people who skip meals, tend to indulge in unhealthy snacks later in the day.
Moreover, regular exercise, drinking plenty of water and working up a sweat will really make us feel good. Exercise is the best way to overcome stress, tension, any kind of addiction or depression. The key to weight loss is portion control and eating right to keep our body fit.
