Ginger is an herbal remedy found in nature. Ginger has always been known for its medicinal properties. Ginger is very effective in case of sore throat and cough.

1. Ginger helps a lot in preventing and curing cold and cough. It helps in relieving body of sore throat.

2. Ginger extract in green tea helps in weight loss, so therefore it is especially recommended to obese people to drink ginger extract in green tea on daily basis to lose weight early and healthy way.

3. One teaspoon of Ginger juice with one tea spoon of honey mixed in warm water helps a lot in relieving chronic cough and coryza.

4. Boil water with ginger pieces. Have this steam; it helps you a lot in clearing the respiratory tract of excess phlegm.

5. Ginger has anti-cancerous properties. That is it helps a lot in preventing cancer. It contains good amount of anti-oxidants required by the body to ward of infections and harmful bacteria from entering inside the body.

6. Ginger has anti-inflammatory properties which helps a lot in preventing the arthritis.

7. Ginger improves the digestion. It is widely used in cooking food and various dishes and recipes to aid in digestion.

8. Ginger helps a lot in relieving the body of indigestion, heart burns, stomach pain and constipation.

9. Boil few pieces of ginger in one glass of water and drink it. It helps a lot in decreasing increased blood cholesterol level of diabetic patients.

10. Boil few ginger pieces in warm water, it helps you a lot in reducing increased blood glucose level, so it is very good for diabetic patients to lower their blood glucose level healthy way.

Ginger has anti-inflammatory properties and is a powerful natural painkiller. Ginger may be powerful weapon in the treatment of ovarian cancer and it has the ability to slow the growth of colorectal cancer cells. Having ginger tea in the morning is very good for digestion.
