Cabbage is a green vegetable which is eaten in various forms, sometimes as salad in raw form and sometimes in cooked form as vegetable in various dishes.

Cabbage has lot of health benefits which are as follow-

1. It supplies your body with vitamin C, which plays a vital role in strengthening your immune system.

2. Cabbage contains good amount of carbohydrates which is needed to supply the energy need of the body to help run the various body functions and metabolism.

3. Cabbage contains good amount of roughage which helps in proper digestion of food and also removes constipation by supplying the fiber content needed to improve the digestion.

4. Cabbage being green vegetable you all know contain good amount of all the nutrients. Green vegetables has always been known for their being nutrient rich in nutritive amount.

5. Cabbage contains good amount of protein so therefore also suffice protein need. Cabbage contain good amount of iron, so therefore, is very good for anemic patient who have iron deficiency in their blood.

6. Cabbage contains zinc, phosphorus, copper, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, vitamin C and all the rest of the nutrients our body needs in right amount.
