Coconut water has lot of health benefits. Along with being good healthy energy drink it is also a good refreshing drink. It contains all the essential vital nutritive elements our body needs.


The health benefits of coconut water are as follow-

1. Coconut water contain good amount of all the nutritive elements our body needs. It contains good amount of potassium needed for the healthy functioning of nervous system. Potassium is not only good for nervous system but it also helps in lowering blood pressure, therefore is very good for persons suffering from hypertension.

2. Coconut also contains good amount of zinc, iron, and manganese. These are all important minerals our body needs.

3. Coconut water not only refreshes the body it also helps in maintaining the electrolyte balance of your body, therefore, is good option to restore electrolyte and water balance of body in case of dehydration and diarrhea.

4. Coconut water is very good for skin. It helps in soothing the skin damaged by harsh rays of sun and also helps in preventing heat stroke in summer.

5. Coconut water helps in treating various digestive problems like indigestion, stomach ache, diarrhea and dysentery.

6. Coconut water also helps in preventing various diseases as it contains good amount of all the nutrients it contains good amount of nutrients like carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins like vitamin B9, vitamin B3, potassium, zinc, manganese and iron.

The article which you presented here is very informative. Drinking tender coconut water is very healthy. But it is very costly in all the states of India except Kerala. In Kerala it is available in cheap rate because Kerala is the land of coconut.
