How to Recover Photos and Video from Digital Cameras and Camcorders?

Accidently deleted photos or video in digital camera? This article tells you how to recover deleted photos and video with digital photo recovery and camcorder recovery software.

         

Have you ever met the message like “Delete All”, “Media is not formatted, would you like to format now?” or “Media Card is not valid” during the process of using digital cameras or camcorders? Sometimes, you may mistakenly press “Yes” due to momentary lapse of eye-hand coordination and lost precious photos or videos. If that happens, don’t panic, there still have choices to recover them with digital camera recovery software.

Generally, most digital cameras do not delete digital images from the storage media immediately when you deleted them or use the format command. The pictures and video should be still in the memory card, only not be inaccessible. Retrieving lost photos are possible. You can use digital camera data recovery tool like Card Data Recovery to help you get them back.

Before restoring data from digital camera, make sure the digital camera can be detected by the PC. Card Data Recovery works with many tapes of direct camera connections, when connect the digital camera or camcorder to PC, you can see their media card appears as a drive letter. If your camera or camcorder is not displayed as a drive letter, you have to ask the help of digital camera card reader. After that, you can get back lost photos and video within the following four steps:
Step1. Download camera photo recovery software, then install it in your PC;
Step2. Launch the program and scan the digital camera or camcorder’s memory card;
Step3. After scanning, you can see all recoverable photos and video displayed in the task list, click “preview” to see them before recovery.
Step4. Click “Recover” to get back them.

Thanks a lot, to the author, for sharing these methods of recovering data from recorders. Really useful stuff given here. I had lost a large number of photos once from my digital camera when the memory card got formatted by mistake. Next time i hope these tips will come in use.
