Cauliflower is the vegetable which is enriched with the various nutrients. It contains good amount of vitamins, fiber, proteins, minerals and carbohydrates. It has lot of health benefits.

The health benefits of cauliflower are as follow-

1. Cauliflower contains good amount of vitamins and carotenes which is very good for maintaining eye health in optimum condition.

2. Cauliflower also contains good amount of vitamin C which is required by the body to maintain immune system of body in optimum working condition.

3. It also contains vitamin B1, pantothenic acid, pyridoxamine vitamins which are vitamins from B series of vitamins in rich amount.

4. Cauliflower also contains folic acid in adequate quantity required by the body to prevent anemia. It is specially recommended to pregnant women during pregnancy.

5. Cauliflower also contains good amount of iron and zinc in it. Copper is also contained in good amount in cauliflower which is necessary for the healthy working of red and white blood cells.

6. Cauliflower also contain good amount of fiber in it therefore, is very good for digestive system. Antioxidnats present in cauliflower helps in preventing cancer, cataract and hepatitis.

7. It also helps in preventing osteoporosis as it contains good amount of copper and calcium in it. Cauliflower contains adequate quantity of magnesium and potassium required for optimum working condition of central nervous system.

Whoa! Does cauliflower realy contain all this? Nice. Interesting article. I had heard that the flower part of it did not contain any nutrients. Thanks for this information. Certainly changed my view about this vegetable.
