(The Prayer Posture)

How to do it?

This asana appears to be quite easy,but requires some practice to perform perfectly.

Stand erect keeping both the heels together.

Your knees must be straight. Hips should be contracted.

Chest should be come forward.

Neck must be straight. Spine should be stretched up.

Bring both of your hands to the chest and keep them together.

While you are standing you may observe in the beginning that your entire body is oscillating and not steady.

Through gradual practice you should learn to be steady without making any movements of your body.

Start always your yoga practices with this asana.

How to synchronize your breath.?

Have normal breathing in this posture.

On what aspect to have auto-suggestion ?

while standing in this posture you may pray to God in your own fashion according to your needs.

Many persons start the practice of yoga asanas with great enthusiasm in the beginning.

Unfortunately they leave them in the middle due to lack of consistency perseverance.
