Copper is very important mineral required by the body to run its various body functions. It plays a very important role in healthy functioning of body.


Copper is contained in good amount in various fruits and vegetables and also contained in good amount in various cereals.

The important health benefits of copper are as follow-

1. Copper is required by the body to run its various metabolic reactions as there are some enzymes which function only in the presence of copper ions.

2. Copper is required by the body to synthesize the energy molecules of body named ATP, which requires the presence of copper ions to facilitate the enzymatic reactions for ATP synthesis, which occur only in the presence of copper ions.

3. Copper helps in preventing graying of hairs and also helps in preventing decreased melanin production. It helps in giving color to your hairs and skins.

4. Copper also helps in the healthy formation of red blood cells. It is required for the healthy functioning of red blood cells. It also helps in the hemoglobin synthesis and also helps in the iron absorption from food.

5. It also helps in preventing arthritis therefore, is very beneficial for arthritic patients. Anti-inflammatory properties of copper helps in preventing swelling and pain of joints due to arthritis.

6. Copper due to its anti-inflammatory properties helps in preventing infections and inflammation. It also helps in protecting the body from various disease causing pathogens.
7. It also helps in proper growth of bones in children and also helps in the healthy functioning of central nervous system. It also helps in transmission of nerve impulses.

8. Copper also help in the healthy formation of myelin sheath of nerves which helps in protecting the nerve fibers from wear and tear of nerve tissues.

I think people get bored by eating one thing daily, so I do not think that those people who eat non veg do not eat vegetables on even single day in week.
