Iron is very important mineral required by our body. It plays a very important role in the healthy functioning of body and red blood cells.

         

Iron is very important mineral required by our body. It plays a very important role in the healthy functioning of body and red blood cells. It helps in preventing anemia which occurs due to iron deficiency in your body.

The health benefits of iron for health are as follow-

1. Iron helps a lot in efficient formation of hemoglobin which is red pigment of red blood cells but it also helps in carrying oxygen from lungs to various body cells.

2. Iron also helps in the healthy functioning of brain and muscles as both of them require oxygen for their healthy functioning and it helps in providing good supply of oxygen to them through the hemoglobin of red blood cells.

3. Iron also help in the healthy functioning of neurons by supplying efficient supply of oxygen through hemoglobin as the brain neuron cells die if deprived of oxygen for more than five minutes.

4. Iron also help in preventing fatigue, chronic fatigue syndrome, which usually occurs due to low level of hemoglobin in blood. Iron also helps in preventing easy exhaustion and prostration of body. It helps in preventing vertigo when the cause of vertigo is low hemoglobin level of blood.

5. It also helps in preventing birth defects, low birth weight newborns and IUGR that is intrauterine growth retardation in new born babies. It helps in proper growth and development of body and hence helps in maintaining good health. It also helps in preventing anemia which occurs due to iron deficiency in body.

6. It also helps in maintaining good health of skin and also helps in preventing dry skin and weak and brittle nails. It also helps in preventing insomnia.
