Mothers are always worried about giving the right nutrients to their kids. Kids are choosy do not eat properly. However, most kids like sweets. The jaggery dosa is not only sweet but also healthy.

1. Wheat flour
2. Jaggery (molasses) - 2 lumps
3. Cardamom - 1
4. Water
5. Ghee (clarified butter) or butter
6. Dry fruits (optional)

Break down the jaggery lumps and immerse it in water. Keep on stove and let the jaggery melt completely. There should be no lumps left behind. Take off from stove and strain it. Mix the wheat flour in the jaggery paani or liquid to form the consistency of dosa. Add a pinch of salt, cardamom powder and dry fruits if desired. If the dough is too hard, you can add a little water. Water and wheat flour can be increased if you feel the sweet taste is above normal. Keep the fry pan or tawa on the stove and heat it. Pour a little ghee or butter on the pan. Take a big table spoon of the dough and pour it on the pan and spread it evenly in the shape of a round dosa or pancake. Pour ghee or butter around the pancake and let it cook till brown on both sides. Serve it with sugar or cold milk. Children are sure to love it.
