The Samsung C3312 DUOS is a dual SIM phone with a 2.8-inch touchscreen display, 1.3-megapixel camera, FM radio, multimedia players, Bluetooth and a memory card slot. Here is a short review about Samsung C3312 Duos.

Body and Display:

The dimensions of the phone are 102 x 55 x 12 mm. It weighs about 100 grams. The type of the touch screen is TFT Capacitive touchscreen with 16M colours. In capacitive touchscreens, we can't use usual stylus. Capacitive touchscreens will work only if we touch using a conductor. Our body is a conductor. So we should use our fingers to work with capacitive touchscreen phones. The screen size is 2.8 inches with approximately 143 ppi pixel density. The screen resolution of the phone is 240 x 320 pixels.

It has multitouch feature also. Multitouch refers to the ability of a touch sensing surface to recognize the presence of two or more points of contact with the touch sensing surface.


The phone comes with microSD card slot. The external memory can be extended up to 32GB. The internal memory of the phone is very bad. It comes with only 30MB internal memory. The features of the phonebook include 1000 entries, photo call, call records etc.


The phone comes with Proprietary Operating System. It has sensors like Accelerometer, proximity etc. This is a feature phone from the house of Samsung. GPS is not available. Java is available via MIDP emulator 2.0. The phone has FM radio also.

It is available in two colours – Platinum Silver and White. It supports MicroSIM card. It has key features like Dual SIM (dual stand-by), SNS integration, MP4/WMV/H.264 player, MP3/WAV/eAAC+ player, Organizer, Document viewer, Voice memo, Predictive text input etc.


Samsung I9070 Galaxy S Advance utilizes both EDGE and GPRS Class 12 version technologies in order to connect to cellular networks. There is no Wi-Fi connection facility in this phone. It has the facility of Bluetooth connection and micro USB which help to connect with other hardware devices directly or indirectly. NFC is not available.


The set has a basic camera. It comes with 1.3 Megapixel primary camera. The camera has the resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels. The picture quality is not so impressive. The features of the camera include White balance, Digital zoom, Scenes, Effects etc. The phone has video recording facility also.


The phone is powered by standard Li-Ion 1000 mAh battery. The stand by time provided by the battery is up to 600 hours. The talk time is up to 14 hours. The stand by time and talk time are good for a smart phone like this.
