Microsoft reveals the all new Office 2013

A new version of the Office has just been announced by Microsoft. Let us have a look at it briefly.

         

The top-rated company in the world of software – Microsoft, has revealed the customer preview of the Microsoft Office. It has been optimized for various touchscreen gadgets like the tablets as well as for the Windows 8 version. The new software was unveiled by the CEO of Microsoft Steve Ballmer. A lot of interesting features are expected to be seen in the new release.
The company has only unveiled the new version. The actual launch will take place soon. The price of the new software is likely to be made public on the launch day itself. That is why if you are a potential buyer, you will have to wait until then.
There are three subscription options for you the new version of Office. They are as follows:

Office 365 ProPlus
This model is especially designed for the enterprise customers who are looking for superior business capacities. It can be flexible enough to be managed in the cloud as well.

Office 365 Small Business Premium
As the title suggests, this particular model is built for small businesses. It comes packed with emails especially helpful for businesses, calendars that you can share, HD web conferencing and a range of web site tools.

Office 365 Home Premium
The Office 365 Home Premium is an Office version that is only designed for home use and not professional. It comes with 20 GB SkyDrive storage facility.
Let us now have a look at some of the features of the new Office suite.

SkyDrive
In the new Office 2013 version, all the office documents, by default, will be saved to the SkyDrive. This makes it possible and easy to access your content, no matter what you are using – a tablet, a phone or your PC.

Office on demand
You can demand Office with your subscription whenever you are away from your usual computer. You can stream the apps to the computer that runs on Windows and is connected to the internet.

People Card
You can now get an integrated view of the contacts that you have through the new feature of the Office suite. The information consists of the pictures, the contact information and the status updates. You can also have an access to the activity feeds from sites like LinkedIn and Facebook.

Skype
The new Office version consists of the Skype feature as well. As a subscriber, you can get 60 minutes of the Skype world minutes each month. You can then integrate your contacts through Skype for on the spot communication.

Meetings
In one solitary glimpse you can view the current and next slides, the time of the presentation as well as the speaker notes in PowerPoint. Zooming and marking up the slides is a lot easier in this new version.

Note-taking the digital way

Yes.. They have launched this new version quite early. I mean its still 2012 and they already launched 2013 version..lol.. But still features sounds very good. Specially that cloud feature with sky drive. There are many other interesting changes also their. So looking forward for this thing. I have hard that with vista and xp it is not available? Is it right? What about windows 7? Can we install it on windows 7? I have read that it is specially made for windows 8 and touch screen tablets.
