There is a proverb “ Early to bed and early to rise ,makes a man healthy,wealthy and wise “.. There are many health benefits that work and which enhance our lives .Most people have a problem waking up early, but it is not as difficult as it seems to make an early start to the day. Do not make any drastic changes. Start slowly, by waking just 15-30 minutes earlier than your usual time . Get used to this for a few days. Then cut back another 15 minutes. Do this gradually until you get to your goal time.

This good old proverb Early to bed and early to rise makes you healthy, wealthy as well as wise. And that is not merely an age-old saying. It works in our daily lifves too. There are many health and other all round benefits which enhance our lives

1. Enough Time to Exercise

Waking up early gives you enough time to exercise and keep fit . You can easily go for a brisk walk , practice yoga or hit the gym with plenty of time at hand. Exercise as we all know is an important and integral part of leading a healthy life!

2. Enough Time to Meditate

There is nothing like beginning the day with a short period of meditation. It will help calm your mind and sharpen your reflexes to keep you going through your busy schedule of work. Meditation is gaining importance these days ssince most people are stressed out and need to relax mentally and meditation is the easiest solution to unwind and relax in the comforts of your home

3. Experiencing the beauty of Early Morning

Only an early morning person knows the charm , beauty and serenity that those hours offer. The silence, the birds chirping, the absence of cars honking, and the sunrise are all advantages only early rising can offer.So , one should try and wake up early and be part of all these wonderful experiences ..

4. Increased Productivity and Efficiency

A study conducted at the Texas University in 2008 revealed that early risers are more prone to be productive and efficient at work. In fact, students who wake up early are known to get higher grades than those who wake up late.However, here there are many contradictions since there is also a study which goes on to saay that most intellectuals are late risers ...One can of course balance it out !

5. Eating a healthy Breakfast

A healthy Breakfast is known to be the most important meal of the day. Often, you may land up skipping it if you are running late for work. An early start to the day ensures that this significant meal is never given the slip. This makes you feel positive and energetic ready to tackle the day ahead !

6. Less Stress

Waking up early also Gives you ample time to get ready on time. Waking up early ensures that you suffer less stress. Beat the traffic and drive to work at ease.Normally, most of the stress builds up right at the beginning of the day and continues through the day.

7. Setting a Routine is very important in life

Once you get into the habit of rising early, you are able to set a proper routine and that obviously leads to better productivity not only at work, but also on the home front and as an individual.There is also the chance that your entire family gets into the habit of waking up early and reaping the health benefits !

8. Brighter Mood

Early risers are generally known to be happier and more optimistic than night owls. The latter are known to suffer depression, insomnia and pessimism, here again it is just the view that early risers have and not through any conducted study !The bright start with exercise and optimism is bound to keep you feeling energised and optimistic all day.
Proper routine and exercise are known factors in ensuring better health in the long run. Waking up early ensures you set aside time to work out. Late risers lack the advantage of time for this.

Improved health, enhanced productivity and energy can result in a higher rate of success. After all personal and professional well-being, and ultimate success is what everyone seeks. So, why not adopt a healthier lifestyle and reap the added benefits?
