Dear Prithivi,
Thanks for the article. I grew up in a tea garden. Almost everyone in a tea garden drinks tea without milk or sugar. Workers usually go to their work place after drinking a huge bowl of tea with a pinch of salt. I have never found a patient suffering from gastritis, ulcer, diabetes or cancer in a tea garden. I found many with tuberculosis which I think is due to lack of nourishing food.

Hi Xavier, I am amazed to know that tea garden workers are not suffering from gastritis, ulcer, diabetes or cancer. It is really a boon to them. But I would like to know how to drink tea without milk. I think you are using water instead of milk. You have mentioned that instead of sugar, they are using salt. Is it tasty?
