Welcome My Precious

December 31, 2012  by: Xavier  Points: 10   Category: Inspirational Stories    Views: 397

I welcome the new year 2013 with open arms. It is a free but precious gift to me. For a person of faith each day of the year brings blessing.

Welcome you with open arms,
Welcome New Year.
Welcome my precious,
Welcome my dear.

My eyes have seen you.
That itself is a grace.
I receive you with gratitude,
In love- warmed embrace.
You are bringing unforeseen cheer.
Welcome my precious, welcome my dear.

You are ushering new hopes,
To enkindle my heart;
In your joys I’m sure
I will have a part.
New songs, new music, new poems will I hear.
Welcome my precious, welcome my dear.

Though you don’t reveal your secrets,
Yet to me they are known.
Every moment is a blessing,
To eyes of faith it’s shown.
My Father lives, no unknown need I fear.
Welcome my precious, welcome my dear.

Each new day you will unwrap
A freshly new gift for me
I’ll enjoy it, I’ll cherish it
Each day I’ll feel its glory
Each day will be a renewal, my soul will never wear.
Welcome my precious, welcome my dear.

Some great lines. I am indeed happy to have read something worthwhile and positive about a New Year for quite some time. Otherwise there are all the negative thoughts going on around and we hardly manage to welcome the new year positively. I love this poem only for that one simple but true reason.
