Tata Tea Museum
Tata Tea Museum is a very famous tourist attraction in Munnar. It is situated in Nallathanni Estate of Tata Tea which is just 2 kms from Munnar. The museum exhibit distinctive antiques, machines, furniture, old photographs and tools that have been used over the years here. You got welcome there with cardamom flavoured tea. One can see processing of tea in a processing unit of small factory which is allocated here. Kolukkumalai Tea Estate
It is established the remote place around 35 kms from Munnar. It is around 8000 feet above sea level and known as highest tea state in the world. It is famous for its outstanding and luscious teas. Factory where the tea generation takes place from the traditional process is situated at the centre of the tea estate and constructed in British Period in year 1930 . Traditional tea-making contains a seven-step procedure which includes withering, rolling, sieving, fermenting, drying, fiber extraction, and grading , and all these takes place in this factory only . Blossom International Park
It is 3 kms far from Munnar. It is spread over 18 acres of land and a must visit place of Munnar. Beautifully cultivated garden have rare species of flora and tress. Many amusing activities like water cycling, boating, cycling, roller skating , ropeways and swings are offered here. One can feel rejuvenated after visiting here.
This park was created to safeguard a rare species of the wild goats,Nilgiri Tahr. These goats can be found only in the south of the Himalayas. The Park was upgraded as National Park in 1978. The park is enriched with dense forest and lush green plants.While roaming one can locate few animals and birds like Elephant, Nilgiri langur, Nilgiri marten, Small-Clawed Otter, Tiger,Leopard , Nilgiri wood pigeon etc.
Thattekkad means flat forest, and this region consist of evergreen forest located between the streams of Periyar River. It was the first bird samctuary of Kerala. Salim Ali, the famous ornithologist illustrate this sanctuary as the richest bird habitat on peninsular India. It has opulence birdlife. Watching numerous species of forest birds and water birds are fieast for bird lovers and photographers. Hill View Park, Idukki
Hill View Park is located in the proximity of the Idukki Arch Dam and Cheruthoni Dam. The park is constructed on a cliff at a height of 350 ft above dam water level. The natural garden is spread over an area of 8 acres of land and offers picturesque views of the surrounding regions (Cheruthoni and Idukki). Kerala Tourism Development Corporation (KTDC) is responsible for its operation and management. One can spot various animals like elephant, bison, deer etc. Latest attraction of the park are herbal garden and children's play area, which gives addititive beauty to it. It is worth visiting.

It is located at the convergence of the Cardamom Hills, the Anaimalai Hills and the Palani Hills in the southern region of ENP (Eravikulam National Park). Anamudi means "elephant's forehead," as name suggested it resemble elephant's forehead. It is the highest peak in the Western Ghats in South India. Nilgiri languors, Nilgiri Marten, Nilgiri Tahr, Asian Elephants, Gaur, Leopards, Bengal Tigers, and macaques are found here. Thumpachi-Calveri-Samuchayam and Calveri Mount

Idukki Arch Dam
Idukki Arch Dam is the Asia's biggest Arch Dam having height of approx 554 feets .It is standing upright between the two mountains - 'Kuravanmala' and 'Kurathimala' . DAM lies in the heart of the District Idukki and constructed on Periyar River. It was built and is maintained by the Kerala State Electricity Board. Cheruthoni and Kulamavu are two other dams which got constructed along with this and altogether three dams have fabricated an artificial lake. It has underground Power House at Moolamattom which generates approx 780 MW hydroelectric power. Major charm of this dam is its spectacular view of surrounding. Kundala Dam And Lake
Kundala, is situated at an altitude of 1700 meters above sea level and is famous for its Dam and lake. Kundala Dam is Asia's first arched dam. One can take picturesque view to the vicinity from here. Resplendent Kundala Lake is adjacent to the dam, boating facility is available here for the tourists. One can take ride on Shikara boat to feel richness in experience.
Sita Devi Lake at Devikulam
Devikulam is at the 16 km distance from Munnar, it is small hill station, situated at an altitude of 1800 meter above sea level. Sita Devi Lake has its religious importance also, legend demonstrates that Goddess Sita bathed in the water of this Lake. From that time its water known for its healing properties and minerals.
It is famous for its Lake, Dam and Indo-Swiss farm. Dam is situated at an altitude of 1700 meters above sea level. Lake is also very beautiful, one can enjoy boating here. Boating facility is there for tourists, while boating you can view steep hills, greenery and sometimes animals like elephants. This is a great picnic spot to enjoy. The Indo-Swiss Live stock farm is worth seeing , varieties of over 100 high-yielding cattle are nurtured here. There are 11 sheds but visitors are allowed into 3 cattle sheds.
