Network:

Operating frequency bands of any mobile phone is the key part of its specification. The supported frequency bands only determine whether a certain handset is compatible with a certain network carrier. The operating frequency brands of this phone in the 2G network are GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 and in the 3G network are HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 and in the 4G network is LTE which is market dependent.

Body and Display:

The dimensions of the phone are 137.4 x 68.2 x 9.3 mm. It weighs about 143 grams. The phone has a Super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen with 16M colours. Capacitive touch screens work by recognizing the electrical properties of the human body instead of pressure and generally we cannot use stylus in capacitive touch screens and so handwriting recognition is not allowed in capacitive touch screens. But capacitive touch screens are more sensitive than resistive touch screens.

The screen size is 4.7 inches with approximately 469 ppi pixel density. The screen resolution of the phone is 1080 x 1920 pixels. The touchscreen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

It has multitouch feature also. Multitouch refers to the ability of a touch sensing surface to recognize the presence of two or more points of contact with the touch sensing surface. The constant tracking of the multiple points allows the mobile phone interface to recognize gestures, which enable advanced functionality such as pinch-to-zoom.

Memory:

The phone does not have a microSD card slot. The internal memory of the phone is very high. It comes with 32GB/64GB internal memory. The phone has an impressive Random Access Memory of 2GB.

Connectivity:

HTC One utilizes both EDGE and GPRS technologies in order to connect to cellular networks. Wi-Fi is also available. It has the facility of Bluetooth connection and micro USB which help to connect with other hardware devices directly or indirectly. NFC is also available. But it is market dependent.

Camera:

This phone has a 4 megapixel primary camera. The camera has a resolution of 2688 x 1520 pixels. The features of the camera include autofocus, LED flash, 1/3'' sensor size, 2µm pixel size, simultaneous HD video and image recording, geo-tagging, face and smile detection, OIS etc. There is a 2.1 MP secondary camera on the front to make video calls.

OS:

OS is an infrastructure operating component of a smartphone. It is the vital component of a smartphone as it controls all the basic operations of a smartphone. This phone comes with Android OS, v4.1.2 (Jelly Bean).

CPU, Chipset and GPU:

The CPU is Quad-core 1.7 GHz Krait 300. The processor is the main computing component of a phone and is a major factor when it comes to the overall speed of the device. The phone comes with Qualcomm APQ8064T Snapdragon 600 Chipset. The GPU of the phone is Adreno 320.

Sensors, Radio, GPS and Java:

The phone has sensors like Accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, etc. GPS is also available with A-GPS support and GLONASS. Global Positioning System is a space-based satellite navigation system that provides location and time information in all weather, anywhere on or near the Earth, where there is an unobstructed line of sight to four or more GPS satellites. The phone has Stereo FM radio with RDS. Java is available with Java MIDP emulator.

Key Features:

The model is available in three colours Black, Silver and Red. It supports microSIM card. The key features of the phone include SNS integration, Dropbox (25 GB storage), Active noise cancellation with dedicated mic, TV-out (via MHL A/V link), DivX/XviD/MP4/H.263/H.264/WMV player, MP3/eAAC+/WMA/WAV/FLAC player, Google Search, Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Calendar, Google Talk, Organizer, Document viewer/editor, Photo viewer/editor, Voice memo/dial/commands, Predictive text input etc.

Battery:

The phone is powered by standard Li-Po 2300 mAh battery. The battery is non removable.

Market Status:

This phone was announced on February, 2013. It was released on March, 2013.

Hey Adi, I have written an article about HTC One on my blog. Hadn''t I posted it there, I could have done it here. But it was good reading your article as it has more or less the same contents like me. After all, the article is based on specifications. But I have written it in a news like format.
