A brief overview about the features of Paypal

PayPal is a well-known e-commerce website that was started in the United States of America in June 1998 and is currently owned by eBay Inc.

The website is an electronic payment website that was designed as an alternative to traditional methods of making payments such as by check and by money orders. It allows people and organizations to make payments, transfer money and make purchases online with the click of a mouse. In the past, a PayPal account could be operated with by the account holder through either a debit card or a credit card at the choice of the depositor but about two years ago things changed. The account holder needed to have a bank account that would be verified by PayPal and there was a limit on the amount spent by the account holder.

Since most online websites have PayPal as a payment option, it has become essential to have a Paypal account. In order to get a PayPal account, you first need to go to the PayPal website. Once you get to the PayPal account registration page, select Personal or Business Account, then select the country that you live in. Next, on the PayPal Account Sign Up page, enter your information, then click Sign Up. Depending upon your requirements, PayPal gives you three types of accounts to choose from. They are Paypal Personal Account, Paypal Business Account, PayPal Premier Account.

PayPal gives members the option to have one Personal account and one Premier or a Business account. However, each PayPal account must contain a unique email address, bank account, and credit card. The question that arises on most peoples minds is what makes PayPal unique. The answer to that question is PayPal can viewed as alternative and effective online method of payment. PayPal can be said to be an electronic wallet, that ensures one convenient, secure spot to keep all your ways to pay and you do not need a balance in your account to make purchases.

PayPal gives you the freedom and flexibility to pay the way you want, all while keeping your financial information secure.

PayPal allows you to pay on your own terms and gives you the option to choose the best payment method that suits your needs. the account holder can link his bank account, debit, and credit cards to his PayPal account and earn reward point for doing so. This enables him to decide how he wants to pay, and never have to worry about keeping a balance in his PayPal account. If he have any money in your PayPal account balance, he can use a bank account, debit card or credit card that is linked to the PayPal to fund his purchases. If you have a bank account on file it is used first (after your PayPal balance is gone), but during the checkout process you can also choose to buy something with a linked debit or credit card.
